Took a bit longer to assemble, because I needed to take it to my machinist buddy to perm pin on the muzzle device. I had quite a few muzzle devices to try, but the funky machining at the front ( And rear ) just didn't match up to most of them.

Finally decided on a Killer Innovations Comp, matched up close enough...but nothing is going to be a perfect fit on this slide.

You dont need the recoil lugs for the optic, that pocket is TIGHT...there is no movement once you slide it into the pocket.

Looked at a few metal producer pages, and 17-4 is regarded as highly corrosion resistant.

And I’ve got to say, the slide looks pretty sharp. Smooth machining, good look (for a pointy cut front).

After researching for myself and seeing why many people choose this steel for maritime use, I stand corrected about the corrosion statement

Anyone have a recommendation on which G17 clone frame that's a good bank for the buck to pair this slide with?

Get the GST9 frame that way you can choose between 17 or 19 configurations and itís compatible with way more glock holsters than a P80 frame

Sorry I meant the adjustable frame how it can be a 19 or 17 based off that removable bottom section.

Understand, but that frame only works with G19 slides.

Yup, a quote from the page says "*The MOD1 (of the GST9) does NOT accept Glock 17 slides. The MOD1 frame accepts Glock 19, Glock 19L, & Glock 19XL slides*
