I have a source there for the entire season and they are giving me the intel on the ground, if a get a call saying things are going off I’ll head back. If things stay the way they are now I’ll be heading back for the last week. The season ends on the 18th and I’ve only heard of 2 bucks taken, a 3x3 and a 4x4.

I then starting thinking about him, he was a typical 4x4 kinda heavy but no wall hanger… I went back to get a better look at him, I also thought how easy a drag etc … as to where he was. I’m glad he moved from where he was bedded when I got back or I may be done.  Hopefully good things come to those who wait.

Tag filled…. Tough hunt and the numbers are down. G3 had a avalanche a couple of years back and supposedly killed numerous deer. I took him to a local butcher here in Independence, he said it was one of the nicest he has seen, I asked about the giants and he advised very few around nowadays, so I’m still here until Sunday so he can process my Buck. After seeing what’s being taken and what’s out there I decided to take him…
