Default Recommend 9mm AR build kit

So I’ve got a Spikes Glock mag compatible lower just gathering dust and I don’t know what to do with it. I’ve got a spare fixed stock and paddle grip, but what’s a good reliable upper and lower parts? PSA is my other two range toys, so I’m not looking to storm any beaches or breech any doors.

I got my AR40 upper from New Frontier Armory. Nice quality and price. Paired it with an Aero Precision EPC lower.

If CMMG’s radial delayed blowback upper can be made to work with the lower, I’d recommend it. Is the extractor removable? Not sure if the feed ramp can or needs to be fitted to the lower, though.

I paired my spikes Glock lower with a spikes upper, buffer and ALG QMS trigger. .308 buffer spring, faxon bolt and barrel. That thing is fun.

I've assembled a 9mm AR before, but it occurred to me that I bought an assembled lower. Now I have to build a stripped lower.

Other than the mag catch, do I just use an ordinary AR lower parts kit?

The bolt release often times is different than the standard AR15 part, but usually it comes with the lower if it is non-standard.

Standard triggers usually would work, at least for a while. Bolt speeds on the AR9 are supposedly rough on triggers, hitting the hammer so hard that it slams into the disconnector.

I didn't see a bolt release with the lower.

For a trigger, I planned to use an ALG until it breaks. Fairly cheap, but better than mil-spec. If it breaks I might throw on a Hyperfire that I have, or get an Elftmann cassette trigger designed for 9mm.

All the other parts are standard AR?
