I have a few more, so if anyone is itching for one, let me know.

Included in my collection is a match prepped HRA in .308, and it is one hell of a shooter. That one I'll never sell, unless someone offers me stupid money for it.

Who the hell is only giving this thread 3 stars? A Gun Show thread, for an always excellent gun show? Just added mine, and boosted it to 4 stars.

I don't remember that one specifically, but I can say with certainty that the worse gun show I've attended in Idaho is better than any gun show I attended in Ca for the last 5 - 10 years.

I quite literally find something interesting to buy at every show - even the dinky Homedale/Marsing one.

If you are looking for new guns, hit one of the hundreds of gun stores in the treasure valley. Guarantee one will have what you’re looking for. For older stuff, or out of production stuff, hit the gun shows. The fun is in the hunt. I have found some absolutely amazing used old gun finds here, in addition to milsurp and other stuff. They are basically gun garage/estate sales. I don’t always score, but I’ve made some amazing finds. My latest scores were new in box s&w 3913 and S&W 6906. Never fired, boxes, paperwork, warranty cards. Immaculate.

For sure. Also, the small shows are sometimes the most fun, and great deals can be found there. My wife and I have learned to have low expectations of finding bargains and look forward to visiting and seeing all the various displays. If we come across a good deal, it's like finding a gem.

For me, the fun is digging in boxes that everybody else is ignoring. That's where the gold is. :-)

Man that’s no kidding. That and getting to know some of the regular sellers by engaging in conversation. I’ve had guys pull **** out from under their table and say here you might like this. Sure enough i absolutely do. Gun shows are what you make them. It’s an event for my buddy and I.

I’ve been disappointed with the Rocky Mountain and Crossroads gun shows here in N Utah.
Remind me of the ones in CA these days

I do like the Utah Gun Exchange though

It was a good show with a lot of vendors, and lots to look at.

I ended up with a couple of smalls for my reloading room, in conjunction with a nice S&W 29-3 for $800.

Nice Boss! In addition to a High Standard military HD .22 pistol, I also picked up some milsurp, and a new old stock 1970’s era Schrade HS1 sharpening steel for an amazing price.
