LA area range with bulletproof walls between shooters

I want to test out a variety of new handguns. I’m always wary of ranges that let you rent because of some of the unsafe behavior I’ve seen from novice shooters. Are there any indoor ranges that have BP partitions between shooters? This would go a long way towards easing my fear that the person to my left or right will negligently discharge into me.

Looks like LAX Ammo might - was wondering if there were others or if someone who has shot there can confirm.

Just go during non-peak hours (eg weekday mornings) …Or phone some of the ranges in your area and ask about the dividers.

Drive to Smokin Barrel shooting range in simi valley. They have a nice selection of rental handguns and take safety very seriously. Also go with a friend. Some ranges don't allow rentals to party of 1.

Just show up with a plate carrier and ballistic helmet. The lanes will clear out after you arrive.

Or go with a range buddy and take turns looking out for unsafe behavior while the other person shoots.

When I built Target Range in Van Nuys we put concrete block walls between firing points with rebar in courses poured full of concrete.
