Default New Member from Scotts Valley Saying Hi
Hello all!

Just wanted to introduce myself.

I grew up shooting and with guns in our home- I'm an Eagle Scout and my dad is a retired LEO. I learned firearm safety and marksmanship on his service side arm and my own little .22 plinker.

Now- after several years of moving my young family around the country due to school and career we've settled down in Scotts Valley and I've rediscovered the fun and satisfaction of shooting and gun ownership. I've been spending too much time at Markley's in Watsonville and having a great time!

Isn't the member only range still open in SV? You have to know a member to get sponsored but sounds like you probably already know people in the right circles.

It is still open- you can hear it depending on where you are in town.

Since I moved here my set of acquaintances is limited to ballet and gymnastics parents (I have daughters). Come to think of it, I probably already know some members and don't know it. I should probably talk more shooting and less football at ballet practice!!

Hi Andy!

I just joined as well. Also live in Scotts Valley. Found Perry's Sporting Goods on Scotts Valley Drive. Check there for a local range. One across hwy 17, haven't been there yet.
