Those five Fredos just guaranteed SCOTUS will take the case.

Yeah, you don’t wanna be “that guy” who pisses off the Supremes. They love slap downs.

Roberts will follow orders from the media. That's his style.

You know, I stand corrected. You are right. Was Theoden, not Gandalf.
I will edit my post and give myself 50 lashes.

Smart man. You actually understand what politics truly is about.

Nah, they’re not hypocrites; their only Standard is success for their position. They don’t believe in the give and take of a republic. Too few still understand this.

Hahahhahahahaha. Whew; the recurring boomer conservative.

They can take plenty with non-court rulings; or even laws being passed: bureaucracy and current chevron deference means that you still lose if you refuse to fight for representation that will DO things to take the fight to their doorstep.

Conservatives are the eternal Cavalier/Redcoat/confederates waiting for those to come to them while getting outflanked and overtaken because invasion is better doctrine than defensive war. I swear, conservatives should be Russians because they seem happiest watching their homelands defiled by invaders; but at least the Russians go on the offense eventually.

Exactly correct. You can’t win from a defensive crouch.

Originalism can’t win because it doesn’t take on the radical views of overturning laws and making millions howl necessary to get back to a small government.

Point out one originalist of large standing who’s actually unapologetic about repealing the civil rights act.

I don't see how any sane person can *ever* vote for a democrat again given recent history. Yet, every morning I wake-up, read the news and have even greater resolve. They have no limits on getting power and keeping it.

Change the population, change the culture, change the vote. We are a mear shadow of what we were some 30 years ago.
Only the concrete buildings built 50 years ago or more think the same way, and even they are being torn down.
And if you put your ear to the walls you hear.... "Let the Past Die".

Seems main issue that resonates with otherwise sane people is healthcare. Frankly, employer based insurance scheme does seem asinine to me as well. Just I realize that last time D were in charge they made it worse, not better. No across the state lines individual insurance plans. No deregulation to drop costs. Since R completely dropped the ball on any improvement either.... Fuсk you McCain, rot in hell. So here we are.
Individual rights and gun rights don’t resonate with comfy myopic suburbia residents.

The past tends to repeat itself especially the ugly parts. Makes me wonder when the democrats will have the next holocaust once they have stripped everyone of their rights and weapons for self defense. It is more important than ever to keep your weapons since you do not know who's list you are on anymore. They used to tell you to stand your ground but the liberals want even that and will take it from you violently. Look at Portland.

War wagon, you find the three boys and let me how much the tickets are when they go down. Maybe we need someone like old blues eyes when he went before congress (1950's) and told them to shove it.
