Default WWII American Flag Professionally Framed OC

Selling my WWII era American Flag that is professionally framed. I just got it reframed a couple weeks ago so the framing and acrylic is brand new. Black wooden frame with off-white background.

The flag itself is a 3’ x 5’ Flag with embroidered stars and brass rivets/grommets. This flag is really beautiful with a lot of character. Very good shape and quality.

This is a big piece and I prefer pick up only but I would be willing to ship but it will cost a lot which will not be coming out of my pocket. To give an idea I had UPS give me a quote from Cali to New York and it was about $480-500 to ship it. The reason is because of the size it counts for freight shipping even though it only weighs about 30 lbs. So obviously shipping it shorter distance will be a lot cheaper I just wanted to see across country price.

Price is $1,000

Location Orange County

Side note: If you ever open the frame make sure you do it in an airy area because the flag smells of musty sweat mixed with cigarettes.

If you want to see more photos message me and better quality photos.

The star count appears correct for a flag of that period. If you had documented provenance that would add to the value. GLWS.

Yeah Bruss01 I wish I would have gotten proof from the lady that her husband did carry this around Europe during WWII like a photo or written letter documented and signed. Thanks.
