Had a box of 1000 fired once brass - started in sizing it, trimming, deburring.

400 124gr Plated FP 9mm over ~5.0gr of Silhouette, for whatever I want... or range time.
Maybe I'll keep from shooting them until this Corona virus thing blows over... just in case with all the criminals released...

Only about 800-900 to go until I am out of Silhouette, and go to Universal.

Sorry for off topic, but I'm curious what overall length you are loading your bullets w/124gr FP's?

~1.1965 to ~1.1985, if I am reading the dial right (just lost my digital, and my eyes just gave out in the last 2 years..). They are ~max mag length in the M9, and the SR-9, and pass the plunk. I haven't changed it in years. Test projectile was ~.5235".

I "WAS" going to back them off a blonde-one to spec, as they seem just a smidgen long for the plunk in the PC-Carbine, and CAN get sticky in mags, but they shoot GREAT, and I didn't wish to fiddle. I really SWORE I was going to back to spec this time, but I was REALLY pissed that I got my first stuck .223 this weekend. I also wanted to have some extra-extra-extra 9mm reloads, just in case this Corona-thing doesn't pan-out quickly (tweekers can't pan-handle for a fix right now, you know), so I simply got to cranking...

Thanks for the reply!
When I saw your pics, I thought that overall length was on the long side compared to my reloads.
I've been using 1.15 ~ 1.20 O.A.L. on my 9mm reloads but might play around with overall length to see if I get good results.

Default what did you reload today

115 rounds of 30-06. 168 gn SMK HPBT on top of 44 grains of IMR 4895 for a 1903 manufactured in 1918 that's in pristine condition and shoots like a dream.
Prepped 57 pieces of 45-70 brass. Will be my first loads of that caliber. Going to use a 350 grain Hornady bullet on top of 52 grains of IMR4895

I couldn't find any .25ACP shell-plates for the XL650, but it looks like they are avail. for the 550*. I'll just make the lady keep reloading those single-stage, as she has been doing for that pawn-shop purchase Phoenix Arms .25 ACP anyways.

I’m using 25 grains not 25.5.

Darn Covid crap. Darn social distancing. Darn rain. But I have a heater next to me and I am warm. I am blessed to be dinking around reloading.

Working on loads for my 224 Valkyries. I am loading the new Berger hybrid 85.5 gr. I've loaded about 10 each with CFE223 (my fav), RE-17 and 2000MR. I have a new jar of Superperformance and was thinking about loading another 10 with that. I still have plenty of brass and powder but I want to test loads.

So in my boredom I am learning to anneal brass and I'm building my 2nd 458 SOCOM.

Reloaded 40 rounds of 45 acp with my new bullet feeder. I'm impressed. My dillon 650xl works great now. Round nose Berry bullets are feeding and seating great?

Can't wait to try them out.

I dug out a Dillon 550 press I have not used since I moved in 2012.
I built a steel framed aluminum topped shelf that mounts on a 4x6 post that supports my patio.
I drilled/tapped holes for my rockchucker and a 550 so I can bolt down either one quickly but store them inside when not using them.
Now I can load in my backyard.
I set up the 550 for 40S&W and loaded 100 rounds as a test to go try out my recently acquired Glock 23.

Working on .41 mag loads. Did two different bullet weights over unique and 700-x. Was able to get a lb each of 2400 and 4227 so I can work up some hotter loads. Just need to get out and test them before I load too many.

Loaded 1,000 rounds of 45 auto today. In between conference calls and continued after work while SIP’ing.

My favorite load. 5.0 grains on WST and 230 ball projectile. These were pulled projectiles so a bit ugly. Just storing them in bulk ammo cans for wonton plinking.

Man that was a lot for 1 day!

Ranges better open soon! Got me some powder to burn!

Expecting that "bullets" will soon be outlawed here in California, a acquired some lead bullets & loaded up some 45ACP 200 SWC and 40 180 TCFP for target/range use. If all goes well, casting is in the future.

Loading some more .257 Ackley with 90 gr. GMX from Midway reboxed. They are still not showing better than 1 1/2 inches at 100. I'll be glad when I've burned them all up. Loaded some .223 Barns 50 gr VG using CFE 223 and those aren't showing much better out of my Rem 700 ADL.
