My monitor is around 13 years old.
It was a nice 27" screen. It has flicked and got some waves in the display so it's time to replace. It looks like 32" is a common size Any reason to spend more money or is this enough screen? ![]() ![]() And my keyboard went crazy. When I typed S, it would either type an S or a backslash. The right arrow key started doing dashes. For now I have an old usb keyboard in place. The windows 1st Gen wireless is trash. For a new wireless keyboard - any brands to get or avoid? Thanks

If you don’t have a reason for a bigger screen that Should be more than enough. I personally use a 27 for every day use and I find it perfectly fine for internet / documents.
As for the keyboard logitec is always fine. But all that stuff, even the off brand Chinese stuff as long as it is well reviewed, I’d all kind of interchangeable at this point if you are just talking regular use. IMO at least. |

The monitor looks good if you have no special needs. I've used this key board for well more than a decade, on my second one after a very long time using the first one. They are rock solid.

Before you commit, hop over to ARSTechnica and check out their reviews.
I am using a 27" NEC MultiSyncPA. It has many thousands of hours of use and still going strong. In general, NEC monitors are excellent. If you are doing any color-critical work a higher end monitor will be better. After checking reviews, hop over to B&H Photo-Video. They often have great discounts over MSRP. -P ETA: Do you have access to another monitor? If so, plug it in as a check to be sure it's your monitor and not your video card. If you are using motherboard-based graphics (Intel AGP), it's likely the monitor. Also, try a different cable. -p

Hooked up a tiny monitor and it works fine.

Cool. That rules out cable or video graphics issues.
Happy monitor hunting! ![]() -P

This. Get a cheap 32inch 4K TV instead, assuming your computer can do 4K resolution.

I've heard here that. TVs make poor computer monitors.
Has this changed?

TV's are made for much greater viewing distance than true monitors. My monitor's resolution is 2560x1440. I don't think a TV would come close to that.
Hermosa, if you are doing documents, spreadsheets, or any kind of image work or video, do yourself a favor and get a quality monitor. Your eyes will be grateful. It's like anything else: Buy once, cry one. -P

\/\/\/\/\. Can get quality monitors for $200 or so Anyway now which isn’t too much. High refresh rate good quality 1440p monitors. If you catch a sale.
The only issue maybe for the OP, is if his PC is older. It may not like the bump up to 1440p for graphical out put. |

That's a 2K monitor. 4K is 2160p. And it looks like the sweet spot for 4K TVs is the 43" screen size. They are dirt cheap right now.

Goldielocks ergonomic. Not all weird, just nicer and more natural than standard layout. Had exactly zero issues going to that shape, can still use standard but rather not. Slight upgraded package https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Comf...725X7NSJ&psc=1 Only wish they made Back Lit. I like to do CAD in dark and need to find odd-ball keys. |

Currently run 65" Sony TV as monitor at 3840x2160. Why is a long story.
![]() Run desktop at 125% scale. Screen is 44" from my face. I love it.

My friend got me a wireless Logitech mx mechanical mini keyboard and master 3s mouse. I can connect up to 3 devices to them. No need for kvm switch, it's all Bluetooth. Batteries last for weeks.

IMO having two monitors is better than have one big one. It is very handy to be able to have different things on each monitor. You can have a video playing on one screen as you browse on the other for example. I have two 27" monitors which feel about right for me.
