That was one of the worst (and one of the best) things for me.... I was so DONE ordering as I couldn't find anything else in stock... then I found the thread saying Brownell's included backorders... UH OH.... 3 more orders

If you guys placed orders that you decide that you don't want, Brownells has been accommodating in the past and if your order isn't too far along they can usually cancel it. They also have the best return policy in the industry.

The VDF code mentioned above is for $99+ for $10 off and free ship. Seems to be a lot of "unadvertised" codes out there. I haven't seen any mentioned at Brownell's or gun.deals since last week. Mostly the minimum order is $99 or over. Sometimes it’s $49 or over.

Some brands are excluded like Glock, Nightforce, etc., but if you are quick and use your gamer skills, you can enter the code before the discount exclusion notice flashes on the page, you can still get the discount. Sometimes you need a slower internet connection to beat the notice, like turn off your WiFi and go to 3G, or move far away from the modem.

Or just wait until you are on the last page, right before "send order", then add the coupon. Usually works on most items.

PS: I think the Q was what was the max limit the % is good for. $100 on a $1K order, or maybe $500 on a $5K order. I can't remember seeing a max.

Yep, the NGJ works for me. I still had a few items in my cart with the code VDF for $10 off $99. After switching back and forth, verified they both are still working. The 10% is obviously better. Thanks randm.

Haven't seen a 10% off since before freedom week (I think)? Perhaps Brownell's made enough off of us Californians that they don't feel financially compelled to offer 10% off for a while (I hope I'm wrong).
