Right now, you have a better chance of spotting Bigfoot riding a Unicorn in pursuit of a Leprechaun than you do of finding primers of any type.....unless you want to pay 3-5 times their worth. Powders have recently been available here and there.....depending on what you want. Set stock alerts at various suppliers' websites and strike immediately when notified for a mere chance at actually getting something.

If people had a idea of where you were located, that might help...

So do scammers really play the long game and have accounts set up back in 2015 or are they using some kind of script to change their join date and getting their posts in to not look like they just set up an account to sca.... sell their stuff?

I actually saw a guy pay that recently at a show.

They're 89 bucks at Midway, and they are in stock at least once a week.
The big box stores like Cabela's, bass pro, and sportsmant often has them for no more than 10 cents each, but you can only buy 100-200. There's steady supply right now, but still extremely aggressive both hoarding and gouging. It won't stop until we stop paying $200 for a brick. I'll buy the $89 Midway massively over priced bricks, but not really interested in paying more. |

I picked up SRPs at the local flea market a couple weeks ago at $50 per K. Easy decision for me.

Where they used primers? That is the best price I've heard of for over a year now. I haven't been shooting much. I still have supplies but just haven't been reloading lately. I'll wait another 6 months I guess.

You have to do your due diligence and check out the local stores. The stuff does show up occasionally.
Over the past couple of months, I've bought about 4k primers at this store which is all I need (including the stash I already have). The real takeaway is to stock up when the stuff is plentiful. This is the 3rd "shortage" I've seen in the past 12 years and it is probably the deepest. It won't be the last. When things are plentiful, I was stocking up on primers at $20-$25/k when they were on sale even when I already had a year's worth of primers on hand. I'm glad I had the stockpile before this started. Good luck |

Hah. That reminds me of my first post. Joined in June 2007, first post was in June 2010 and people thought I was someone's alternate account. The real issue was the confirmation email went to junk mail, was lost, and I couldn't post until I confirmed. I just waited 3 years to fix it. |
