Default Sandbox bring back...

This is a sand box bring back. The Sage chassis had to be "californitized", and of course that's an M1A and not an M14.

I got a Badger Brake (The .875 one for the new barrel). Badger Recoil lug, 2 10 round and 1 5 round as well as nightforce pocketpc software on the way as well as a Rock Creek and badger bolt knob. The remmy one sucks.

Thats the same setup I want to build!!! cept with an OD AICS and a mark 4. Can you take a pic of your groupings when you are out next? I'd love to know how that SPS varmint donor rifle is working for you. If Remy does not let me purchase a black MIL-Spec 700 R5 then thats what I'd like to get!

Not legally, at least... This would be a "smuggle back" and questionable claim, plus considering that it's US Govt Property (unless it was also "smuggled in") "Bring back" is a trophy weapon (not since Vietnam War), not something out of your own armory (not since Korean War). I knew of a guy who brought his own G3 into Opesert Storm - smuggled in and out in parts by him and his buddies - his luck that his CO opted to look another way.

I don't know all ins and outs, but the original poster should either state the legitimacy of their claim or not make statements that can be misconstrued as stolen property. (once again, I could be wrong but questions come up). I hear from SOF and EOD personel in Iraq that they blow up countless weapons on the daily basis - the kind that would bring some serious mint on the Civilian Market...

If someone makes a statement and it's fishy - it's my right to question it... If anything, it's necessary to post that the given item is 100% within the law - especially if it can be misconstrued as such.

New to the group and looking to update my new m1a scout. How do you like your JAE-100 stock? Also, 100% CA legal? How about the ease of build up? Great looking rifle, thanks for your reply if you have time, Steve.

Roo... aside from the black scope- that looks like one the "army men" would carry- you know- the green plastic dudes with their feet stuck together? I did up a rifle like that- with the OD base coat on EVERYTHING scope bipod, etc... really looked like a miniature army men gun.

You are correct in questioning the post... I would also like the questions to be answered..

It is known that this board is watched and posting illegal weapons is a COC violation and not needed here..

Why would the .Mil use a M1a vs. the current line of M14's they are issuing?

I don't mean to attack you or your service but you will need to explain your post. Please..

I've touched that one- the mamba.

Anywhoo... here's my newest- I was at Sac Valley last sunday- hit the steel sils at 200, 300, 400, and 500 meters as indicated by the scope's BDC turret- old system- was one of the best for its time- still makes a good argument in the hands of a good shooter.

MJ1... I'm serious though... save yourself the embarrasment of being beetchslapped by all of us, and sell me the Gewehr for cheap before you paint it.

Default Very Nice 700 Police

Very nice rifle indeed. I am torn between this 700 Police or the 700 LTR model. You're changing my mind ;-)

Of course, I already own a few ARs...so it's time to try a bolt action. What can I say...I do everything bass ackwards.

I always though Savage made them in 24". It does look longer then the one I had. Nice setup. How does she shoot?

Although I wouldn't consider this a precision rig, it shoots like one.

A build for my girlfriend, she promised not to paint it pink. This is her gateway into firearms, and is purely a range toy so don't mind the cheap glass.

J&T Lightweight tactical 1/9 fluted 16" HBAR
FF Forearm (I dont see her needing to hang anything off this rifle anytime soon)
RRA NM Trigger (definitely needed to help squeeze those groups together)
Hogue grip + Magpul CTR
Cheapie optics and mount (she can go buy her own nice glass!)

Despite being 1/9 it will stabilize 77gr SMKs from my handloads. It shoots hovering at about 1 MOA to 350yds with them.
