New in box CVA Accura LR-X long range 50 cal. $700. Still has the factory grease in the barrel. Comes with both pellet and Blackhorn breech plugs. I hate to sell her but have other priorities.
Also have a new in package Anarchy Outdoor full port muzzle brake for her also. Sold separately for $80. Both are priced less than I paid. Last edited by diginit; 04-03-2022 at 6:20 PM.. |

It's not a long gun, But the rules say to combine posts. I follow rules. Not because I'm afraid to get canned, but it is the right thing to do. Don't you wish everybody did? Here's the 1873, 5" baby doll.
She's a BP and not a cartridge, Took me 2 months to find one. She's a Taylor and Co. Uberti new in the box. I've installed a Wolff reduced power mainspring after I deburred and polished the internals, degreased then coated everything with Ballistol. The hammer is still heavy, but the trigger pull is exactly 3 lbs. with a positive sear lockup. (hammer pulls back a little before dropping. I don't know if you know the difference between a negative, neutral and positive lockup.) Positive is better. Could go lighter with a reduced power bolt/sear spring. But 3 lbs is safer. I put the piano wire on 1 of my 1858's and the pull dropped to 1 1/4 lbs. Don't even breathe with the hammer back...Had to put the stock bolt/sear spring back to bring it up to 2 lbs. I haven't even fired the 1873 yet...I paid 560 and was thinking of letting her go for 650 since she has been so loved and ready to sleep with... Hard to get a good pic. She's a couple shades darker than shown. |
