Went in yesterday. It was surprisingly really empty. I had no idea they were even opening until I saw the now open sign along 99! They do have some really good deals on ammo right now. 300 rounds of .45 ACP is $99.99 plus a $20 mail-in rebate

If you are old enough and from the Modesto/Ceres area you will remember the original Turners hardware. Bought my first .22 rifle from Turners when you paid and walked away. Great store way back when. BTW. not the same Turners as the original one.

Dam I'm of that age LOL
Turners had a store in Lodi and Stockton also.
My brother and I would ride our bikes into town 10 miles just to go to Turners in Lodi. Different times than.

Haha, the manager of the gun department at one of the SoCal Turners told me he liked LA County's CCW policy once. At the time, I was LE and transferring a gun. I was using my LE credentials to transfer the gun so he thought I would agree with him. I guess he doesn't know that most cops are pro 2a!

I won't hold that against the store though. I just thought it was interesting...

I went in there last Saturday. Nice selection of guns. Some CZ's, a ton of Sigs, and a bunch of 1911's. Fair selection of fishing stuff. Ammo prices were standard. It's always good to have another gun store.

I used to practice archery in the Stockton Turner's basement. Good times.

Truth the matter is now there are 3 stores have newly opened without the "Grand Opening Ads" (Modesto, Tulare and Sac). Roseville is due next too. Not sure if they have enough "Grand Opening" deals to go around.

They did the Ruger PC Carbine billboard for $429, maybe its a tale tale sign of them doing a different type of promotion for grand opening now vs the "Grand Opening Ads".

I hope I'm wrong but The Turner's guy haven't post much here lately in general so who knows.
