CGN Admins, why hasn't this been fixed? It's been a long running problem, and I myself had had several transactions where the other party didn't leave a positive itrader because they couldn't get it to work. I'm sure a good majority of cgn'ers have missed out as well. It's an important tool when determining legitimacy of the other party. A fix would benefit everybody..ty

Answer: generally, because Calguns runs an old version of Vbulletin, and itrader is an add-on to that.

Last I heard, one of the reasons we're still at this level is the desire to retain the itrader history; IIRC, itrader does not exist for Vbulletin 4.x ? No, it seems to exist - https://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=232044 - but last update seems to have been 2012.

ETA See Kestryll's post http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s...6&postcount=28 in the Forum Software thread in this forum.

I've been saying that for years ...

There is no value at all complaining or analyzing or reading tea leaves to decide what these bills really mean or actually do; any bill with a chance to pass will be bad for gun owners.

The details only count after the Governor signs the bills.

It's something to do with the http in the link; either doesn't doesn't have an "s" and needs it, or it has an "s" and it shouldn't have it. Can't remember which way.

That's it. I don't get it but that solved the problem. The url I copied had the "s" and once I deleted it, it went through.

Thanks

This is an example of a problem that is super easy to resolve ... only if you've seen the solution.

It's like the announcers on the poker tournaments bashing a player for a stupid move that is only stupid if you know what cards everyone else has.

Lighten up Francis!

Your efforts are very appreciated. Many here can’t be bothered to leave feedback.

Delete the "s" from "https". Should be "http".

Remove the ‘S’ from https

Just use http:// at the start of your deal thread URL
