I have other orders that are still in force and will be delivered.
Just wanted some cheese with my whine...nothing more.
Still grateful Brownells was/is shipping to us poor sods in the PRK

Sorry to hear that.

Were you buying in anticipation of getting a 2011, or do you have one currently?

Was going to buy one Monday....so it appears no 2011s for me (piss moan, piss moan)

Meh, I'll have to make due with what I already have..
Did get Standard Capacity MAGA-zines for my 5.7 and CZ shadow 2, +magpul drums, etc (approx 55 mags in all) so I really can't complain too much.

I had my Pmags cancelled and they didn't tell me. I assume it's because they were OOS.

I hear that. I also feel that I did miss out somewhat...but OTOH I did buy all the Glock 33 rounders that I'll ever need.

Valued Brownells Customer,

We’re reaching out to you because you’ve bought a firearm magazine/magazines from Brownells. We greatly appreciate your business!

Your magazines will be on the way very soon. Please bear with us as the sudden rush has our shipping department running slightly behind.

Furthermore, as you may or may not be aware, the California Federal District Court has issued a partial stay in the Duncan v. Becerra case. As a result of the court’s ruling, Brownells can no longer sell magazines with a capacity of greater than 10-rounds to California residents after 5:00 PM PDT on Friday, April 5, 2019.

As long as you bought the magazine(s) before the above-listed time and date, your magazines WILL BE shipped to you.

Brownells stands with California residents and your effort to own standard-capacity magazines. As such, Brownells is making a donation to the California Rifle & Pistol Association to be earmarked for the continued litigation effort in the Duncan v. Becerra case.

In Freedom,

Brownells Customer Support Team

This still does not explain why they "cancelled" my 2011 mags, but did "not" cancel my 2 other mag orders, all of which backordered.

Would love to hear an explanation of what only cancel the 2011 order...

Same thing happened to me with Natchez. Order submitted in the afternoon of 4th was canceled, while order placed at night on the 4th shipped. I suspect their online system sold out of stock mags and they just gave the law as excuse.

This is why I walked into a local store, purchased and took immediate possession of the putative contraband last week, even before the stay was issued.

Thatís what I was thinking. Iíve had that happen before with a backordered item that was subsequently dropped from their inventory.

In some cases, inventory caught up to reality. Even the real-time inventory you see o many of the vendors' websites could not keep up.

I got a note from Copes that part of my order for a certain uncommon magazine had the purchase number reduced (but still getting some) because I and others had tapped their inventory faster than the website could report (however, they only had a few in stock of this particular magazine to begin with).

Some wiseacres are joking...

...that a "2011 mag order " is an order made in the year 2011, an eight year old order

...or that a "2011 mag order" is the quantity, the OP ordered over two thousand magazines.

Exactly,

the 2011 magazine is a double stack magazine on an otherwise 1911 frame.

I was hoping for the .45.

It is still possible I have some older mags up in the attic, but I thought they might have been tossed away before. I'll have to get up there and look, I think I left them right next to the findings of that infamous boating accident...

I ordered a bunch of 2011 magazines from Shooters Connection. Had no issues. They had plenty of stock.
