Default Pellet Gun / Archery in San Carlos

Any locals in the San Carlos area know anything about the legality of either BB/Pellet guns or Archery in your back yard?

I've checked the municipal code and as far as I can see, "BB Guns" are exempt from the definition of "Firearms" and Archery has no relevant mention at all.

This would SEEM to indicate to me that I could in theory buy a pellet gun or recurve and shoot in my back yard?

The idea of ending the day with some archery in my own backyard is very appealing to me atm. I think all my neighbors would be cool with it, probably more than a pellet gun. I have a pretty safe target location in mind.

I don't currently have a bow but shot a bit college and it was pretty relaxing.
