Default Romeo 1 on carry pistol

I have recently had both my Sig P227 Carry and my Sig P224 in 357 Sig milled for the Romeo 1 Reflex Red Dot Sight. I carry AIWB and figured out a simple way to have the sight cover on while carrying.

I simply drilled two small holes in the top arch of the cover and another small hole in the top of the left belt clip on the holster. Tethering the cover to the clip with 65 pound fishing line pulls the cover off when drawn, leaving the cover hanging on the holster. The total length of the tether when tied is about an inch.

Keeps dust and lint out of Romeo 1 and the cover flies off when the gun is drawn.

Cool solution however I am not sure I see the need for the cover on the sight in a concealed condition. The Holosun 507C on my M&P .40 is fine without it, however I carry at 3:30.
