No pics of the show, but here's what I actually brought home:

Lots of Ti! There's my Foster So Cal Anchovy frame lock production knife. While technically a production knife, the fit and finish is super high quality! Easily as good or better than ZT or several expensive others I can think of. It's really an amazing slicer! Below it is the Brian Fellhoelter super Ti flashlight that Brian was kind enough to gift me. Above the Anchovy is my new all Ti Knottingham Tactical US made clickie pen. Lee Nottingham is a friend of Fellhoelter's and makes amazing stuff. He designed the clickie mechanism in house. It is as smooth as can be. Everything is Ti but the spring and ink cartridge. TSA doesn't even give it a second glance
Great looking Ti! That's pretty much the trifecta right there; knife, pen, flashlight.

The last couple I picked up are a Hogue A01 microswitch (CA legal auto) and a Benchmade Aller. The auto was an impulse buy so I didn't have to pick up a new 1911. The Aller was so I could have a pocket knife while I travel. Some countries are pretty uptight abount locking blades.

I also have a Benchmade 585 I custom ordered. I expect it to show in the next couple weeks but they sent me the build image. Pretty excited about that one.

I try not to be tempted by the old Busse habit, but Team Gemini ULTRA Light Brigade? Geesh. Anyone else eyeing these? I kind of want to order a Green canvas with hammered gray coated blade... kind of like my old TGLB... or black G10 with black blade, yikes.

On-Topic, I DID order the green canvas with Big DC finish.

Bagged a new Spyderco Manix 2 Maxamet yesterday. The factory edge was nice, but I stropped it with 40μ diamonds anyway. Now the edge is very, very nice.

Just went for a Kizer Rattler....wanted a titanium frame, frame lock, milled handle, satin blade.

Got it for a good price off EBay.....looked into Reate and WE, but didn’t want to spend THAT much. I’ve had more expensive knives before and didn’t want to use them

I know it doesn't mean much to you guys, but after futzing around with Chinese knives I finally broke down and bought a Bugout. Love it!

Not really a purchase, but my daughter bought me a WWII Bolo Knife. The type that U.S. Navy Corpsman carried.

I picked up a cold steel code 4 tanto. I've heard people rave about this thing. I'm not impressed. It's gritty and right and the spring is really heavy. The blade is nice no doubt but that's all i can say nice about it.

Never been a Cold Steel fan. Not sure why but most of their designs just haven't appealed to me much.

I've kinda been looking for a bigger folder along those lines as well lately and so I've had my eye on the Spyderco Amalgam. Pretty good reviews, ball-bearing washers making very smooth operation. For the price it would be nice to see M390 steel or something similar, however, I'd still be happy with the S30V it comes with. Nice materials all around, compression lock, and sexy lines in my opinion.

That is a nice looking Spyderco. I still would not mind owning a Native.

Cold Steel folders don't appeal to me that much, I have had a few before. Some are decent, some are kind of novelties. The huge 5.5" folders that have their version of the Emerson Wave are interesting. I liked both sizes of Talwar. The TRI-AD is supposed to be insanely strong, but something more delicate like a Spyderco Centofante is what I'd prefer. Still a lockback, but you can use it one-handed and it is strong enough. I don't plan on hanging four 45 pound plates off it while it is in a vise, hahah.

Honestly i was just looking for a beater knife in s35vn or higher. My zt350 is s30v and not holding an edge as well as i would like plus it's more expensive to replace. Plus I've always been a fan of the tanto.

Kershaw Launch 4. Anyone have any good recommendations for a deep carry clip? Found a guy who makes them on Amazon, but some units looked bulkier than others.

CRKT Otanoshi Noh Ken.

Really handy for vegetables, trimming fat on steaks, rope, twine, basically anything I need. And pretty cheap used on ebay.

You've definitely got the disease! Never heard of that first one. It reminds me a bit of some Dervish Knife designs. Looks like a ton of blade in a minimalist frame lock handle. I like it! Can you note dimensions or post a pic with something to show size & scale?
