Default What's wrong with this picture?

Look closely. Look at the image of the powder and then look at the description.

I just got my order from Outdoor Limited. Cracked open to find a 4 lb tub of Titewad and not the Titegroup I thought I ordered. I ordered based on the picture. Very frustrating because I'm extremely low on powder.

They're closed so have to call tomorrow. Hope they don't give me issue with an exchange.

Do you guys think this was my fault or do you find as misleading as I did?

both, but pictures are often misleading so i would have gone on the text and product description instead of the picture.

Yeah man. I think I saw the photo and then my brain read the text as the same. Still, do you think its unreasonable for me to expect a free exchange?

Who is going to pay hazmat , both ways, because of your inability to read a description ?

Bet ya those centerfolds don't look like their pics .

Find something to reload with the powder you just bought .

Go by what your invoice says.
Play dumb and say you received the wrong item. See what happens.

i think the store should be willing to exchange the product, just as a courtesy.

Can't believe illustrated pic or the text of that advert.

I call your attention to;

"WEIGHT..............1.10 LBS"

NOT THE 4LBS ADVERTISED ABOVE.

Yeah. I noticed that too. Everything is wonky. They were closed by the time I received it. They have good reviews so I don't have any reason to believe they won't exchange it for me. We shall see. I really wanted to here opinions if my expectations are reasonable.

The only issue I see is that you cracked the seal (opened it).

It's pretty hard for them to take something in exchange after it has been opened...since they don't "know" if some has been removed...of added. They won't be able to re-sell it after it's been opened

Can't send it back (even if they'd take it back with the seal broken and all) TMK unless you're a designated hazmat shipper.

FWIW, Hodgdon does have Titewad listed for some odd 124 gr bullet. Might try giving Hodgdon a call and see if it will work with your bullets if there's no compensation from dealer.

There are a couple of things wrong. 1.10 lbs for a 4lb can of powder is one. Picture not matching the description is the second. I guess a third issue is that Powder Valley has it for like a dollar cheaper and don't make idiotic mistakes on their website listings.

If there is one thing I don't like about Hodgdon,
Tightgroup vs. Titewad,
and
Universal vs. Universal Clays.

I didn't open the powder. The seal is still intact. I opened the box it was shipped in.

sending it back will cost more than the powder. either find a use for it or sell it locally

Update...

Contacted them today. They acknowledged the product details on their website is confusing. Was told a guy name Dave would follow up with me.

Waiting to see how they handle this.

Notice TWICE in the written description is "Tightwad."
Pictures often get mixed up, but seldom the SKU.
