While the Winchester 1892 is one of the most beautiful rifles in line and form ever conceived, and I have two (.357 Rossi, .44 Mag Browning) it is the Marlin 1894 that has won my heart. I enjoy revolver-caliber lever carbines/short rifles.

When I get the time in the next day or two, I’ll take a fresh picture of my ‘92s.

In the video Hickok says he love Marlins best but here he just wanted to show the complete set of all the Winchester rifles out there on the table.

The earlier ones were designed before Oliver Winchester joined the company and the later ones were either hybrids (model 88) or 22's so they sort of also don't count.

He did, but unlike The Duke, Connors’ arms were long enough to spin the 20” barreled version using the large lever loop. Connors’ Rifleman rifle is an interesting story by itself.

Is this true? John Wayne was 6'4" . I can't imagine him having problems handling a '92.

I prefer the 92, 2 Rossi's and a Winchester but I'd rather take apart the Marlin. Those 92's and a PITA..
I'd like to find one of those Tigre 92's .... I've read good things about them.
