Default Glock 33 rd magazine only hold 31 rd?

The bottom hole has the label 31, rather than 33

31 is the default. It becomes 33 with the floor extension.

If you can't hit it with 31 rounds, 33 probably wont help...

Perhaps we can have a group buy and get the OP a year's supply of Wheaties so he can get those last two rounds in the magazine?

What does that have to do with the reliability issue he's referencing?

33 rounds makes it too heavy; 31 rounds is just right.

I was under the impression he had a hard time loading the last 2 rounds because of a new / stiff spring. WTF would the first 2 rounds he fires be jamming his gun?

Seems that the D60 means what it says, truly 60 rounds, pain to load though

You can load 33 rounds in a Glock 33rder, but you need a tool to do it. The spring tension is very stiff that doing it with just your thumbs will be extremely difficult. A Maglula will be required to load those last few rounds.

Curious, has anyone experienced issues with those mag cracking at the top like some PMAGs do from all that pressure? Is it better for long term reliability to just load 31 in the Glock 33 magazine?

I got this mag too. Disassemble and make sure it was assembled correctly. The follower and base plate spring have to be oriented correctly for it to fit the last two. If the base plate is mis-aligned, you might have the problem you're experiencing.

Take apart your mag. The spring isnt seated properly in the "triangle shaped" base plate. One of the coils is hanging up on the side.

The Glock 33 round factory mags I've seen are still metal lined, I've not noticed any cracking issues with the feed lips as such.

No need for a group buy. One box of Wheaties will last a year.
