My PC Carbine project ***FINISHED***
So far have the PMM forend, Catalyst arms spacer with QD, VG Gamma brake.
Taccom charging handle and comp butt plate are on their way, and it is off to cerakote this weekend. I love this thing. 1500 rounds so far with zero malfunctions.

This is my first foray into the PCC realm, and I did not realize the length of the barrel would allow for almost complete powder burn. I also had no clue the recoil impulse on these, is almost entirely the blowback system in action. It will most likely come off, though I do like the way it looks.

Needs more lights and lasers!
Does the brake noticeably increase noise? Since your brake doesn't seem to reduce recoil, have you considered a blast can or linear brake for reduced muzzle blast?

i wonder why the magwell is so big?
Looks like they made this to accommodate larger caliber cartridges. Would a 223 cartridge clear the magwell? I'd love it if they came out with a 223/5.56 caliber version.

However, I bet caliber conversions are definitely in the PC Carbine future. Here are a few to consider: .40 S&W, 10mm, .357 Sig, 5.7x28mm, .22 TCM. In particular, I'd love to see any of the bottlenecked cartridges offered in the PC Carbine.

That’s really nice, looks great.
I ended up taking my red dot off of mine. Just didn’t like how high they sit on the rifle and the two dog ears visible in the bottom of the optic bugged me. I find the irons more then suitable for 50-100 and most likely will just stick to them. As I don’t think I want to remove my rear sight for a lower profile on the red dot.

Gorgeous. I plan on picking one of these up in the future. I can't wait for magpul to make a complete stock for it. Because it is a pretty ugly rifle in it's stock black configuration.

Sooooooo much better than the factory forend.
I appreciate the fact that MI has brought another option to the table as well. But, it is not my cup of tea. I think the PMM unit looks more at home on the Ruger. And, I think a Costa type hold will not work out well, as the thumb wrapped over the top will require a high dot mount that will really cause a chinweld issue on the factory stock...
