I had a few e-mails back and forth after I sent a polite inquiry via their contact us page.
My impression is that they intend to fill all orders, and they have stated this. They were responding to my inquiries at say 8PM their time, and that seems to imply they were swamped and working late. Editorial thoughts. I think that they are waiting until they get every item on an order, before they ship it. I am assuming this is because we took advantage of their free shipping and their below-msrp pricing. I know they had an inventory problem with a vendor (who I think provides their Ruger magazines), and in my case that is why my order is still 'in-fulfillment'. After I placed my order, and after my first contact, is when I think they changed their info to state that they intend to ship to CA, expect long waits, and your card is charged first, and no refunds. I may have accepted those conditions when I placed my order, or not, I can't say for sure. From their perspective, they would have ordered inventory for all our orders, and wouldn't want to be stuck with it unsold. I am guessing that is why they now say 'no refunds'. I did place a couple backup orders later last week for items I found in-stock elsewhere, but I still want my order from Charlies. In my case my card has already been paid and I am out of pocket for this order. I intend to wait this out and see what happens. If I put myself in their shoes, they did accept some risk placing orders for us, with the possibility of lots of complaints, inquiries, charge reversal attempts, and so on. I believe they took my order in good faith, thinking they had the inventory available via distributor, and they had to make a decision in the heat of the moment as to what to do, when they learned they didn't have inventory.

Received order from them in separate shipments. The first shipping email said:
"If there are other items in your order that are not listed below, have no fear! We have multiple product warehouses and shops. We sometimes split orders to help expedite the shipping process. The remaining items in your order will ship out shortly in a separate shipment." |

I’ve emailed them half a dozen times. They got back to me each time and are persistent with saying they will ship. They are back logged and they charged you for your purchase so you WILL be receiving your items. They did this so they are YOURS at the time of purchase.
I’m giving them more time, their customer service has been nothing short of informative and kind in my experience. They said they received orders for more than 2 Million magazines during freedom week as they called it. |

Personally, I wouldn't panic until May. Give em time. What happened last week the the mother of all cluster**** ordering sprees. Stores cumulatively sold all the mags in the US... and probably then some. Think about that. Give it time.

I received my order and I spelled my address wrong and they contacted me to ask if its right before they shipped because it showed up weird in their system. Great communication with customers so I’d wait it out ppl. I don’t think any company saw this amount of business coming. I’m still waiting for one more order from another vendor who said the same thing. Unless your order is cancelled don’t worry and enjoy your packages when they arrive.

If you placed an order with them you should have also received an email explains it was going to take some time to get orders shipped.
I got tracking info for one of my two orders, granted it was the smaller order but it is on its way and I am certain my other order will ship as well. Do not start calling credit card companies and doing charge backs they went out of their way to help us and always have. Have some patience for cryin out loud. |
