Thank you. I ordered 4/23 so hopefully I’m not too far behind you.
Edit: I called today and they checked their inventory and mine came in. They just hadn’t got around to calling me. Last edited by Wicked K5; 06-08-2019 at 6:28 PM.. |

Ironic that some of us are still waiting to pick ours up, and one has already been sold here.

anyone paying over that price is stupid since this is a single action .22lr revolver, which is like the bottom of the list of guns that would be banned or even thought of to be banned. ruger will catch up to demand by the end of this year. the market for this is much smaller than for their PCC they released last year.

i don't have thousands of dollars to spare every month to buy guns like some on here. i at most can buy 1-2 guns a year. and if i'm deciding between two guns, the one with higher risk of being either knocked off roster or banned will get priority over something that won't. like i would never be in a rush to purchase a muzzle loading black powder gun. that has near zero chance of being banned.

.22's are worth it if there are no options... people would pay $900 or whatever for a MKII/III/IV Target if there were no Buckmarks. Some people will do it anyway. I think my buddy sold his MKIII for $900 or $1000 pretty quick. |

There's not a gun on the planet I'd pay $1000 for. Sickening what they go for here in CA. Guess if I had lots of money laying around I wouldn't mind so much.

Have seen the black model before and saw a bronze one today at my LGS here in ABQ, NM, $199.00. Crappy eyes prefer adjustable sights though, not a bad revolver fer the price though and steel bbl! So picked up one of these: At hopefully some point maybe Ruger will "get the message" and produce an adjustable sight and/or 22 mag version. Took awhile to get the 40 cal PCC Carbine out but I imagine it was already underdevelopment when they released the 9mm version. |

I mean, the SA Loaded Target 9mm and H&K Expert .45 were close @ normal prices.
I'd definitely pay $1k+ for a CZ Tac Sports 9mm. Should have bought some mags for it when that thing happened around April 1st. |

Put a black one in jail today. Went to Sportsman's Whorehouse to look at the Heritage convertible I'd been e-mailed about being on sale ($150) to "members". What's not to like about 2 cartridges in one platform (I have blackhawk convertibles in .357/9mm and 45 Colt/ACP)? I have a derringer and NAA in 22 mag, so already have the ammo.
Well...the Heritage just reminded me too much of cap guns I had as a kid. Everything just screamed cheap. Asked what they had similar as I wasn't interested in $500 .22's at the moment and clerk produced the Wrangler. Trigger on the Heritage was lighter/crisper, but I can work on that. Felt/looked like a more quality piece and has Ruger's backing. Ruger had cleaner sight picture and the black sights looked better to my eye than the silver one. It'll be a nice companion to the Marlin 39 Mountie. $199 at SW. I didn't even know they existed until today.

Picked up my Wrangler out of jail today. Did a "poor boy trigger job". I'm really liking this for $200. Can't wait to Shoot it.

Sportsman's (Milpitas) had the black and silver on the rack. I didn't check any other locations.

I think you'll be impressed when it does come in. I'm impressed handling it for the price point. Hopefully it's got some accuracy. I tend to prefer real sights, but.......

Main reason I ordered one is my young nephew wants me to teach him to shoot. I didn't have a small caliber SA revolver, so, hey new firearm for me. |

I bought the used one that amtragi had in the classifieds. Picked it up last Saturday, went to the range & put about 100 rounds thru it. It's a fun little revolver. About the only complaint I would have is the front sight is hard to pick up in indoor ranges. I need new glasses too so that would probably help. Did the poor man's trigger job last night & the trigger feels pretty good. Dropped the trigger pull almost in half, from 6lbs to 3.3lbs.

You can skip the pushing on the hammer part by just shooting a bunch of rounds thru the gun. It'll accomplish the same thing. Taking one leg of the spring off the post will cut the trigger pull by about 1/2 but you may feel a bit of increase in creep. Overally, I like it, it's reversible if you're going to use the revolver to teach noobs & it's free. |

Was traveling through the forest the other day. Had the pistol with me, so put about 75 rounds of Winchester Super X through it.
Not really a platform for an accuracy test, but when I took my time I put all six rounds in about a 2" spread in a water bottle with no real discreet aiming point at 15'ish yards. Easily minute of soda can. Most all my pistols have superior sights as I'm more an accuracy type guy (even though I'm only fair), but this thing is Fun.
