Kimber K6s Revolver for Concealed Carry?
I'm looking for a revolver for concealed carry. I found out that Kimber makes a K6s 6 **** 357 revolver that appears small enough for me to carry around.
I'm not familiar with Kimber; I've always been more of a S&W and Ruger guy. Thoughts on their quality? Anybody familiar with this kind of revolver? |

Quote:
1. The heavier weight makes it a lot more controllable for multiple shots, and: 2. The Kimber is packing 6 rounds to the S&W's 5 rounds. The K6S still isn't a "heavy" gun; it's just heavier than the S&W. Per the manufacturer, it comes in around 23 oz. With a decent CCW belt and a well-made holster, 23 oz + ammo will feel pretty much weightless. |

It's my edc in a Don Hume iwb at 1 oclock or in a Coronado vest. i'm 5'9" 180lbs. It's no problem to carry and has the best out of the box trigger I've ever felt in a revolver. I only wish I'd waited for the 3" model, but maybe Mrs. Santa will help me out there.

It's all what you get used to.
I conceal carry an eight shot S&W 627 2.5" barrel without any issues. Just get a good holster! 627: https://www.smith-wesson.com/firearm...er-model-627-0 Look at the S&W 327: https://www.smith-wesson.com/firearm...nter-model-327 Last edited by madmike88; 11-26-2018 at 7:50 PM.. |

I have a 442 and a K6s on my permit and I can’t remember the last time I carried my 442. The trigger on the K6s is unlike any DA revolver out there. Yes it’s heavier but that makes it pleasant to shoot especially when loaded with 357. Just my .02.

They offer an LCRx 3" in .38 special, but not .357 mag. I currently own the LCR 1.87" .357 mag.
