Just got back from Sportsman's Warehouse. $59.99 for a brick. That's right, a brick. They've raised their purchase limit from 200 to 1,000.

Still only small pistol, small rifle, and 209 primers - but the price is half what the gunshow/CalGuns scalpers are asking, and you can buy a whole brick.

Must not have percolated through all their stores. I was just in the Brentwood, CA store this morning and had a conversation about being able to buy boxes of primers again as I purchased two sleeves of Federal Match Large Pistol primers - I was told not yet.

Although, they had moved the powder from behind the register to the aisle with the rest of the reloading supplies.

The clerk said it was a recent policy change. I'm in Idaho, if that makes a difference.

I can't put you up, but I'll buy you a beer if you're in town.

I don't really need SP primers, I'm pretty flush. What I need is LR primers - I'm down to my last 4,000. I'll try and use the SP primers as trade if the time comes. 4,000 primers is under my comfort line, but still a lot of shooting before the well runs dry.

It is threads like this that make me smile knowing that I paid almost $1500 for small pistol magnum primers- 68k of them... plus an additional several hundred that were open and different brands. Of course it was in the back parking lot of a Home Depot and it was paid in cash in 2021... But still...

That American Reloading deal has been going on for at least a soiled week. Looks like inventory is coming in.

American Reloading has had free ship and haz for a long time. Makes it easy choice when they have CCI in stock. Also drove me to try Ginex primers, and so far they work great (besides seating). Next experiment is trying out their powders.

I'm almost out of the primers I bought about 5 years ago for $0.0075 each. I'm trying not to dive into my stash of 30K CCI SPPs that I bought from the CGN classified for about 2.4 cents each.

Ive never heard of a deal below a cent. Bravo!

I HAD a crap ton of Seller Belloit primers at 2 cents from Cabelas. Those are almost gone now.

Soon as I see stabilized prices, Im stocking up again.

I picked up a bunch (20-30K) of those at 16.99/1000. Of course, after hazmat, it came closer to 2 cents each.

I'm still working on the supply I bought at a Reno gun show way back when. At that time, they were $121.99 for a case of 5,000. I bought 5 cases, one of each variety.

I'm down to my last 3,000 large rifle, so I'm starting to get nervous. I'm still flush with all the rest.

Awesome! Retail prices are obviously dropping to a new "normal".

Does anyone have insight as to why large rifle primers are so scarce? Seems like everything else is pretty freely available.

I was in Utah and Idaho last week. SW had SPP for $5.99/sleeve, SPMP & LPPs for $6.99/sleeve and CCI #41s for $7.99/sleeve. Limit was 1000/day. By far the cheapest primers I saw in a 4-week tour of the US.

Midsouth Shooters has CCI Primers on sale. $70/1000 for Small Pistol, and $80/1000 for Small Rifle. If you buy SPP in 5000 lots, you save a little more.

I don't know brother....

If Ukraine is the problem then it's about time we stopped sending them ammo, food, water, condoms....what ever. I don't know about you but I'm getting tired of this $#!+.
