Reverse what? Constitutional Carry is legislation passed by the states. Even if SCOTUS says public carry isn't protected at all, these laws still stand.

OK House passes Constitutional Carry, now goes to Senate
The Oklahoma House passed their version of a Constitutional Carry bill and sent it over to the Senate. The Senate’s version is still in committee.

Oklahoma was 70-30 in the house. That's pretty good. Iowa is also great news. I suspect there will be more of a push to pass constitutional carry after the attorney general ****ed up the constitutional amendment process. |

Kentucky: Constitutional Carry passed by Senate, now goes to House
Well, that went fast! Not only did this KY senate committee hear and pass it today, but it was heard and passed by the entire KY senate!
Onto the KY House's committee, then House floor vote and then to their governor. https://www.nraila.org/articles/2019...al-carry-today Passed Senate: https://www.nraila.org/articles/2019...n-to-the-house

Oklahoma: CC passes Senate Cmte
All it needs to do is pass the full Senate, then it goes to the Oklahoma governor who has said he'd sign it.

With an overwhelming Repub advantage, I'm betting OK Senate passes it.... I'm also betting the KY House, with a 3:2 Repub advantage, passes it. IOW, we should have 2 more Con Carry states soon.

I tried to find the correspondence with details, but could not. IIRC, it has to do with Nebraska being the only unicameral state legislature in the nation and Mr. Chambers having, by far, the most seniority in that one chamber.

Oklahoma: Senate vote on CC expected next week
Looks like things keep zipping along in Oklahoma re. ConCarry.
Acc to the video at the link below, their Senate is expected to vote on it next week. The governor says, as long as the Senate does not modify the House bill, he'll sign it. If it does get modified by the Senate, the governor (and his staff) will have to carefully review it to see if he can support it (i.e., make sure no poison pills were added). https://www.koco.com/article/oklahom...-bill/26485591

Makes no sense to have individual maps for each "level" of carry. |

The map is "honest". The point is to differentiate between may issue, shall issue, and permitless carry states. The specifics of each one are not relevant to that map. The point is to contrast the three main levels of carry by state, not the nuance that each state has. May issue states would need certain colors as well, since places like CA and NY are essentially shall issue in most of the state, but large cities and state law have a may-issue scheme. This is very different than New Jersey and Hawaii's "May-issue" which is de facto no issue. My state is Shall Issue Concealed carry. We are an Open Carry state that does not require a permit, but some municipalities have restricted Open Carry, except CC permit exempts your from the municipal open carry ban. That is fairly unique and it would need its own color as well. If you think this map is inadequate then you should make your own. My only real complaint about that map is no one has changed Rhode Island to Shall issue and it has been four years since the state Supreme Court struck down may issue. Carry permits are May-Issue from the Attorney General, but Shall-Issue from the local municipality due to a 2015 Rhode Island Supreme Court case. Last edited by wireless; 02-28-2019 at 2:59 PM.. |

I have a request. Can you change the colors of the unrestricted and shall issue? Some of us color challenged have a really difficult time seeing the difference.
Maybe a darker green for unrestricted and bright yellow for shall issue? Just a suggestion. Thanks

Shall Issue= Blue May Issue= Yellow If you are having a hard time differentiating between the colors you might be color blind. That is not meant to be snarky or passive aggressive, just saying because the blue and green look very different to me. About 10% of men are color blind, so it's much more common than many people realize. |

CC Passed in the Kentucky House 60-37
https://www.wlky.com/article/permitl...house/26593303 An NRA article stating the Kentucky governor said he will sign the bill. The bill has been sent to his desk for signing since it already passed in the senate. https://www.nraila.org/articles/2019...ds-to-governor |
