Enter Attorney General Rob Bonta, who told me he is ?seriously considering? a run for governor in an exclusive interview Friday. ?Quite a few folks have reached out to me encouraging me to run for governor,? Bonta said, though he insisted his current focus is ?on being attorney general? and a gubernatorial bid isn?t ?something that I?m making a decision on today.?

Nevertheless, he seems to be laying the groundwork for a statewide campaign by zeroing in on issues that California voters consistently rank among their top concerns: housing affordability and homelessness.

Absolutely. I feel for you guys stuck in deep blue states like California, but it is the duty of everyone to make the effort to vote, even if the situation feels hopeless.

Literally everyone, from the "experts" on mainstream media to late-night hosts to statistician pundits to politicians themselves, said that Clinton had a 99% chance of winning in 2016. Imagine if people took that to heart and gave up. Now, I know it didn't work out in 2020, but it was still within 1.5% in many key states.

Virginia had not elected a single Republican to statewide office since 2009, but we got Glenn Youngkin in by a thread through a combination of good messaging and a little moderating.

If you don't at least try, then you cede all the power to the woke authoritarians and their cult followers.

Look at what happened to Arizona. Republicans up and down the ballot, Republican governor, Republican state house, Republican state senate, not one Democrat won the state from 1952 to 2016 except one Bill Clinton in 1992.

Now, it has two Democrats in the Senate, Democratic governor, and 1-seat Republican majorities in the state legislature. Arizona will be a blue state by 2030.

You feel safe in Idaho? California could fill ten Idahos with enough voters to turn the state blue and still have enough left to elect all Democrats back in California.
