The Archived Threads Forum
This forum will be used to keep threads that have useful information in a centralized location.
By keeping them here instead of stickied at the top of each forum for months or longer we hope to make it both easier to find and to keep the other forums cleaner an less cluttered. 2nd Amendment Politics is getting out of hand with stuck threads. A thread will be moved here if it is considered to be still valuable but not of immediate urgency. Because this forum is archival there will be some different posting rules. Once a thread is moved here by a Moderator or Admin it will only be able to be deleted or edited by a Moderator or Admin. Members can reply to a thread but not create a new thread and once a reply is made it is subject to the same rules of editing and deletion as posts moved in to this forum. This forum will hopefully serve as a valuable resource and over time act as a source of stored knowledge..

We thought about read only but some of the stickied threads in the 2A forum will likely have updates or, in the case of legal issues, conclusions to the cases.
That is why we went with limited ability to post and not a read only format. If it becomes necessary I can always change that later as well.

Candidates for being archived:
I looked through a dozen pages of the largest threads in the 2nd Amendment forum, wasn't sure if the DOJ notice stuff was important enough without considering the time sensitivity of those posts, so I tried not to pick anything that was important then and not now... Anyways, just suggestions.
