The Lender has asked that the Judge to appoint a Trustee - set for a Hearing on July 25th, because a Trustee must be appointed because the Debtor pulled out more than $5 Million Dollars from the Company. (Short run on sentence for summary.)

Looking at my FS account, its shows dates out to December for the 4 day handgun. Just 1 course for every week. Seems it still shows as "free" but when you go to check out its $400. They did the work to change the site to charge you at check out but didn't up date thats its no longer free. Should be honest and just put up $400 for a 4 day and $200 for a 2 day.

Pay $400 fee for a 4 days class


That changes a lot.

How do you keep all the staff there.

Any guess what many make? $10-$12 per hour?

Rangemaster make p to $28 hr if I remember correctly. Cost of front sight is too expensive when you factor in everything else such as travel and lodging and such.

I said goodbye to a few more staff members when I was there over the weekend taking Adv Tactical.
Quite a few are moving on due to the uncertainty and needing something more stable to support themselves and family.

This. Those with families need to look out for their future. You have some staff who have some sort of retirement income so FS is not their main bread and butter and they can weather it out. Hoping for the best but expect the worst.

Instructors were told to go on unemployment this week. Salaried managers are being kept on board. Not sure how that translates to the specialty private training like Precision Rifle as only a handful of instructors can teach it.

That does not sound fair.

Hillary Gavenda used to tell students in small classes stories of how these aspiring young instructors would take the ID class, buying their own ammo with their last dollar, that they could not afford to stay in a nearby motel. They would dry camp in front of the gate just for a chance to have a job at Front Sight.

Isn’t that what happened to them during that COVID closure? It was meant to retain the workforce when there was no money coming in? A lot of instructors left then. So are any summer classes taking place?

My guess is once fall rolls around when it traditionally gets busy at FS and nobody shows up this year we will be inundated with emails begging us to come back and sign up for classes.

I see no way around this it has all caught up with him as all Ponzi schemes do eventually. He has screwed so many people including me that I do not feel sorry for him. Once the members who were getting every thing for free had to actually pay $100 a day (that is a steal and worth every penny) all I here is bitching. So his biggest supporter's or maybe last supporters have even abandoned him. I hope he feels as lonely as he should, at least he has scientology?

There are, but it's scaled back. I guess I'll see when I'm out there again for a private training beginning of August
