Default ANNOUNCING CALGUNS CONTRIBUTORS

In the last 8 years CGN has grown from being just a fun place to discuss firearms to becoming a grassroots community dedicated to changing the California political landscape. We are now approaching 50,000 members and 3.6 million posts!

As we reach towards this landmark number of members we have decided to introduce a new program called CGN Contributors. If you choose to become a Contributor think of this as a tip-jar. The proceeds from the CGN Contributors program will be used to start our own advertising campaign, improve the CGN website including the search functions, and further the C3 related outreach and activities. We have even more events and range days planned and we think you are going to like what you see. Keeping true to our roots that CGN will always be free, all our members will continue to get access to the site.

Contributors receive the following:

1. Unlimited PMs. Never delete anything again.
2. Access to the Contributor's Lounge, a private place to discuss issues that are not indexed by search engines.
3. A cool new color for your username and recognition in your User Title as a CGN Contributor.

Subscriptions are priced at $19 semiannually, $29 annually, or $299 for a Lifetime. Contributors enjoy no special privileges otherwise and are subject to the exact same rules and regulations as any member including temporary and permanent bans with no refunds. If you wish to Contribute, please click here: https://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/payments.php

Once again, Calguns and it's content will always be free. This is simply a way for those who enjoy the forum and what it has to offer to "give back" to your community. We will be using the new injection of cash for material hardware and software upgrades to the site (including search) as well as advertising, gunshow booth expenses, and other exciting programs.
Please note that CGN is separate from CGF and that CGN Contributorships are not tax-deductible.

You will be seeing CGN continue to grow in the years to come, but we will never forget our roots. This is my promise to you.

-Paul.

Like I don't learn at least $29.00 worth of knowledge nuggets every year from CGN? CalGuns rocks and $29/yr is a great value.

Great idea!

Can we have something like this to contribute to CGF on a recurring basis also? I'd rather do it through GunPal than by setting up a recurring payment via my bank.

You can link just your checking account to GUNPAL and pay that way for services not requiring an address. (since GP encrypts everything all the time - it's actually more secure than sending checks in the mail, which have your account number printed in the clear right on the bottom.)

I went to pay with my gunpal account and it kept kicking it back. I did it three times and when I clicked the pay button, it just went back to the log in even though I was logged in. Did i just buy a 3 year membership?

That's not normal, you can check in "My Subscriptions" - send an email to support@gunpal.com and they'll get you taken care of.

Done. I'm in.

Just one question: I just subscribed for a year now. If I want to change to lifetime, how will I do that without having a recurring yearly subscription from my first subscription?
