defcon, I honestly think you have some of the best looking .22's. my personal favorite is now that MSR Chassis. im thinking about trying to just make my own design out of aluminum at gunsmithing chool for bolt actions. i would love to see you do some more of those as, your ideas are really different and out of the norm.

i cant wait to see what else you bring to this thread in the future

Savage MKII 22lr, Bushnell 3-9X40 Dusk&Dawn. Cheapo winchester bipod for now. I hate the front iron sight on there trying to figure out the best way to eliminate that.

Talking refinished the ol' Savage model 40 bolt action .22

it was a gorgeous day out at USI, and this .22 shoots better after some sanding and a couple coats of lacquer

CCI .22 LR at 100 yds...I was very happy to find out of 10 shots, 4 touching:

Blazer .22 LR from the Big 5 bulk box of 525 rounds, group at 100 yds...not bad at all:

Well, I may as well post a couple of pics of my CZ455V while I still own it. (It's currently for sale in the forums ):

Wow. So many nice rifles in this thread.
Here's a picture of my Winchester 69 (top) and 69A's (bottom 2). They are such good shooters - always fun.

I am glad I snagged one before they got discontinued, though they're replaced with the 455 version now. But still, nothing like a full piece of walnut going down the whole gun.

Beautiful rifle and the BAG is stunning. I need to make myself a range bag one of these days. I'll be copying yours.

Default My Savage MK II TR

Just thought I'd share my Savage MK II. Took it out to the range this past Sunday and got it zeroed pretty close before the wind started getting out of hand. It's scoped with a Nikon Buckmaster 6-18 x 40 Mildot with Leupold QRW rings and DIP 25MOA mount. Groups were shot at 50 yards, 5 shots. Enjoy the pics.....
