If anyone is looking for a place to shoot and clean, without going all the way out to the desert, there is a shooting spot that is technically in Imperial County but very near SD line, that is trashed(or was when I was out last). Its BLM and outside of the fire hazard zone. It's a rocky area but has a sandy bottom, fine for pistols and short range rifle shooting.

Hey all,
I am brand new to the forum, been lurking around for a little bit here and there...
I'm very interested in meet up/clean up sometime soon, however due to my work schedule I am only available on weekends. If anyone wants to get together let me know- I live in North County (San Marcos/Escondido area)

Not new to the site but finally have time to meet up and introduce my kids to range cleaning. We clean up when we go to the desert and would like to do the same locally.
