I'm interested. Sunday is my only real possibility. Coming from Chula Vista. I have a 2wd SUV and potentially a 4wd SUV depending on the wifey's needs.

From what I noticed you usually only need clearance not 4wd

Correct. The spots that we have been focusing on do not require four wheel drive. You'd be amazed at some of the vehicles we've had out there.

Well, I would still like to participate in a cleanup, but I would have to ride with someone. The lowest point of my car is about 3in off the ground.

Most weekends - except this one and the next
IDPA Clinic on the 15th, and work on the 21st...
can borrow a 4x4, have shovels, rakes, ...firearms, ammo

I would definitely like to join in - but not sure of availability. Most weekends are open, but can get booked up depending on what is going on. I do a lot of volunteer work with the Boy Scouts at the Mataguay shooting ranges.

I have a Ranger pickup and can bring tools if needed.

What's your schedule like? We do cleanups on a regular basis, and will likely be doing them even more frequently, now that the weather is cooling off.

Was out there today and visited a few spots. They were all cleaner than I have seen them in long while. One in particular still had evidence of rakes used. The shooters I took today had no issue with cleaning up afterwards. It's easier to keep it clean if it's clean to begin with.

Just a quick reminder... use or possession of steel core ammo is PROHIBITED on BLM lands here. There have been two fires started by steel core ammo in the last month. In addition to the $500-$1000 ticket, there is a good chance the shooters will be stuck with the cost of putting out the fire, and more. Multiple aircraft, engines, brush rigs, hand crews, etc. My guess? $30k-$50k...easy.

I am interested in helping out. I have no tools but would be happy to grab some contractor bags/buckets/etc. I have my wife's 2wd suv that is moderately handy but could re-borrow my 4wd from my wife if necessary. I work like a dog for a Navy Contractor so I can't commit to any days ahead of time but would like to be added to the list and would join as available.

Myself and a coworker (also a member here) are also interested. He has a truck, we have tables, EZ ups, trash bags, shovels, and I always have a fire extinguisher.
We're off every other Friday and weekends.

im off work this week. ill run out there with you. need to sight in my new eo-tech. have lifted f150 4x4. and a f250 diesel 4x4 with a dump trailer if needed.

I would love to go out this Wednesday for a cleanup/shoot. I have a friend in town with a truck and gear and we are looking for a place to enjoy some outdoor activities, and are more than happy to volunteer for the cause.

I'm open to one of these and available any weekend I'm not running a 5K, heck I'm even available after most of the races. I don't have a 4WD but my Equinox can make it in most places.
