Hello from Chula Vista
I used to shoot a lot more when I lived in the boonies years ago. Now I'm getting into shooting again. Both for sporting reasons and for environmental reasons. I found this site recently while researching California gun laws after being denied my first choice picks of several run of the mill non extreme gun models at the local gun shops.

New calguns.net member in San Diego
I'm reaching out to other members in the San Diego community. I have an annual membership at the American Shooting Range in Kearney Mesa and generally get 100+ rounds down range every week with my pistols and shotgun. I am also looking to join an outdoor range to shoot tactical shotgun and long rifle. Any recommendations are much appreciated.

victory19 - Kensington HK fan ever since I was a kid. Wished I picked up that brand new HK94 w/ some factory accessories for $415 back in '86... Years later, I remember seeing a brand new SP89 for $1200 and thinking that price was ridiculous... Haha! : (

I'm in Kensington.
I have been shooting my whole life and love to take new people to the range. I have a few .22LRs that I always start people out on. Other than that, I am dabbling in reloading and I would love to get into 200+ yd shooting. Hope to see you all around. Oh ya, and I guess pullnshoot25 is most directly to blame for me being here. I heard about CalGuns through the UCSD Marksmanship Club.

It's been a hot minute since I posted on this forum. (Being in a country where you're not allowed to own gun periods makes California seem like the promised land) Native of San Jose, about to wrap up a 2 year tour in Okinawa and get stationed at Camp Pendleton. I've been TAD to Pendleton for a couple of months so I'm familiar with Iron Sights in Oceanside. Looking forward to finally be able to meet some of the southern Calgunners in person.
