Default Glockstore SD - Closing July 9th

Posted on their Facebook page:

After 30 years, we've made the difficult decision to close our San Diego GlockStore retail showroom.

The relocation of our headquarters to Nashville, TN will allow us to better serve all of our core customers… the Glock-loving American citizen. 🇺🇸

Saturday, July 9th, will our final day of business at the San Diego retail location.

It has truly been an honor to personally serve you, the people of Southern California. We look forward to shipping the parts & pieces you need from our new, greatly expanded Nashville warehouse operation.

Sure - you just have to drive to Tennessee.

On the downside - I did all my CCW quals there with Bill Desey. Hopefully he is able to find a place to keep his buisiness going.

I dont blame them. This state treats law abiding gun owners like criminals.

GS is a quality vendor. Just ordered an Advantage Arms .22 conversion slide and barrel for my G26 from GS.

Who is gonna Lenny-fy the local plastic now?

The property has been for sale for a long damn time. Must've just sold.

Now up for lease by Cushman and Wakefield.

A one gun store isn't a good business model here.

Same experience here, however they are still 2A.

I bought a Glock 30 with some of his parts in it. I don't think they added anything to the reliability or performance.

The Glockstore has always treated me fairly and has been an asset to my training. I will miss them.

I only went there twice. First to PPT and the second to pick it up. In all fairness, they were probably the nicest guys I'd interacted with at any gun store...aside from Bass Pro Shop in Branson Mo. We were on vacation and that guy basically invited my whole family over for a BBQ. Missouri peeps rock! (the non meth-head ones)

GlockStore always treated me with excellence. I purchased two Glocks with them and they were always happy to assist me with any fine tuning or troubleshooting. Their move is a loss for San Diego.

This is the third gun shop that has closed in San Diego over the last year and a half or so. Gunfighter Tactical closed down their retail shop and only does gunsmithing and cerakote now. Beebe Family Arms and Munitions in Fallbrook closed down and moved to Utah. And now GlockStore has closed. Sad times

I've been a customer since their time on Murray ridge rd and have never received anything but courteous service from them. This lost is just another victory for the gun grabbers.

I did a quick google search and the shop is called "Fallbrook Guns & Ammo". Thanks for the info, I'll drop by sometime soon.

Bummer, went there for a PPT and they were great. Ended up bringing my g17 back for some work. They were great in customer service.

I still have Lenny’s cell number. Really a nice guy with a work ethic. I bought a bunch of items over the years and they had a presence at several gun shows.

I wish them well. 👍👍

Just drove by the store and found out the bad news. What a bummer.

I’ve done a handful of business there with purchasing and transfers. I have to say that I wish my experience at every other gun shop was as good as any given time I’ve walked through their doors.

I totally understand the move but just wish they would’ve stayed for folks like us that needed a place like that in CA.

Thanks to all of you folks at the GlockStore! You’ve been awesome!

Complete opposite experience over years of going there. Liked that place a lot.

Default My favorite GlockStore memory

My favorite memory from the GlockStore was heading in one day to get a P80 frame.

There happened to be a uniformed SDPD officer in the store just looking around or maybe waiting for the staff for something.

The guy behind the counter said they were getting in a bunch of P80 new colors & he asked me which color I wanted most. I replied... "PINK !!!"

The officer just looked up at me, raised his eyebrows & had a confused & contrarian look on his face like he didn't know what to think of my comment.

I smiled and told the cop: "Maybe I'll get two of them. An FDE and a Pink one. The FDE for the wife, and the Pink one for me."

The look on his face was priceless!
