Conceal carry background check time line almost up .
So I'm very close to my 90 day background check reaching it's end . When I check the status it still says "assigning to processor shortly." . I'm just days away from the time they said it would be concluded and I've not had anyone even start the process it appears .
How many of you had your background checks take longer then 90 days ? If my 90days passes I plan to call and check status or should I do that now ?

Well they said in the interview several times it would take a full 90 days . Never did they say anything like , close to , approximately or the like . It was clear I was to expect the process to take at least 90 days . However that whole time I really thought they were just trying to lower expectations, didn’t think they meant it literally.

If you used utility bills to substantiate your residency, you may want to upload current ones. I've been asked to update mine at the 11th hour. They seem to be very worried you might have moved in the last 90 days.

The only portion of my CCW that they beat the timeline on was the actual issuance, which was stated as 2-3 weeks after I completed my CCW course, and it actually arrived in the mail on like day 8. Everything else took at least as long as they said it would.

Same here , only took about a week to receive the permit once everything was uploaded.
