Wow, after a year I just got approved to get a CCW. Which CCW class do you guys recommend?

I'm in my 90 day holding pattern so I did some price comparison but I cant speak to the quality of the classes.

Prices may vary, I got these quotes word of mouth so call them and verify the cost.

The cheapest I found was RJs training down in Chula Vista. I met him at pink gate and he said he did his class right there on BLM. It was $150 the last time I saw him.

All the rest seem to be right at $250. I've talked to a couple of instructors and the live fire qualification part is pretty basic so IDK what having the "best" instructor would entail. Hopefully more people with experience will chime in here.

I also went to Discount Gun Mart for both my initial and renewal mainly due to schedule, they have a class essentially every other weekend (along with some during the week). At the time of my initial, that was pretty rare and most places had it during the week. Going there for the renewal was based on reflex. Might have changed since then since the popularity has skyrocketed and more instructors are holding weekend courses.

If you're looking to improve you skills, I highly recommend ITTS in LA, they have an intermediate concealed carry tactics course that really reinforces your skills.
