Default any build parties in the I.E. ?

so, is anyone in the i.e. holding a build party any time soon? i've got my stripped lower, lpk, and the stock components on the way. i've been researching on how to do this at home, but this is my first build; and i'd love to be able to get some tips and pointers from some experienced AR owners. not sure which tools to buy, or what brand for that matter. and while it would be nice to spend $$ on fancy AR specific punches and pin holders, and other tools, i'd rather use the money for ammo and range time.

You do not need a build party with a stripped lower. I followed this guide late at night while drinking bud light. Watch a few youtube vids also and this should work for you.

As for the punches, just make sure they are brass.

My set looks like this minus the wood hammer.

Vise grips also work great for less maring when inserting slide catch and guard pin

This, incidentally, is our Federal Government right here, right now, today -- just add the zeros to the above and you get our tax revenue, our spending, and our federal debt.

If there is a build day, I'd love to come by and either lend the little experience I have, or learn as much as I can.
