Any recent reviews on the Beretta Px4 Storm

I'm really liking this gun. Any of you fellas have a review on this gun?

I'm think about getting one drosed next week. The $75.00 rebate is nice too.

I might even give the .40 cal a shot if I can find one. I've got about 500pcs of brass and I already load for 10mm.

I have the 45 ACP version. There's some voodoo magic with these Beretta rotary actions (I have the older Cougar as well). Almost as soft as my HK Mark 23 and FNX 45, in a smaller package.

I have shot the 9mm version in a training class, and it was super tame and very accurate.

PX4s are super underated.

It’s a soft shooter, that’s for sure (the 9mm).

Underated. I regret selling mine for $450 with 5-mags (free from Beretta) + other extras in 2017. This was because I was stupid with firearms (less than a year of know-how).

If I save enough dough, I’d probably get it again.

Nope it's off roster. I sold mine to another member down in Torrance to help fund my move out of here.

If I could find a Type C or Type D PX4 45ACP, I'd totally jump on it again.

Yessir. If I had to make an analogy for how soft it was to shoot, I'd say it compares to any CZ style pistol, HK P7 series, and an HK USP 9mm. The recoil impulse in every caliber just defies all logic.

If I had to pick one con, it's probably the "proprietary" magazines. For the 9mm you could just modify surplus M9 magazines to work. Not sure about the larger caliber variants.

I have the competition trigger group in mine, and the double action is butter.

got a PX4 in 40 several years ago -- surprisingly good shooter and a lower felt recoil than expected. definitely a keeper for a plastic gun.

I had a Storm in 9mm. A very accurate and soft-shooting pistol. Great DA/SA trigger, too. But I sold it... Why?
The grip area was much too smooth. Every time I shot it, I would have to re-anchor my grasp on the pistol. "Just put Talon grips on it - problem solved!" - right?
Yes, I did get the Talon 'sticker' but never put it on. Decided to go another route instead. To Sig... (And, at that point, I was a die-hard Beretta fan and had never owned a Sig)
I bought an SP2022 and love it! Even bought a 2nd SP2022...

So definitely 'try before you buy'...
