Default New Stock for Vudoo V22

I can't make up my mind on the stock for my Vudoo V22, trying a McMillan A3-5 now:

looks good. what did you have on it before? I put mine in a MPA Comp chassis, just because that is what my other bolts are in and i really like the fit.

What ammo does yours like?

I have had it in a KRG Bravo and a Manners Compact Stock. I can't make up my mind so I keep trying things. Most of the time has been spent in the KRG Bravo and that is a nice stock(especially for the price), but I like trying other stuff.

For ammo the best I have tried for me is Lapua Center X. I have also shot lots of SK Standard + and old Wolf Match Target through it which it likes fine. I tried Eley Match, but my rifle had some feeding hiccups if the mags weren't loaded just right. The hassle with Eley is not worth it for me so I am just sticking with Lapua/SK. I did also try CCI Standard Velocity, because I saw reports that some folks got decent results for a cheaper ammo, but the chamber on my rifle is too tight. I had to really slam the bolt to get it to close on the CCI.

Mainly I use the rifle to shoot NRL22 so I don't have to wring every last bit of accuracy out of the ammo. I am more concerned with feeding and function being solid. The Lapua/SK ammo has had perfect reliability for me.

I have mine in an AI, because that's what my centerfire is in. There is nothing like having both rimfire and centerfire in the same stock, glass and trigger; especially if you shoot NRL22 on Saturday, and centerfire on Sunday.

The ability to build a rimfire rifle that is very close to your center fire rifle is a feature of the Vudoo that few other .22s have(maybe the RPR?). I'm not shooting a center fire right now, so it is not a trainer for me, the Vudoo is my primary rifle. I'm just really enjoying the quality of the rifle and the ability to take advantage of all the Remington 700 accessories.

I changed the stock back to the KRG Bravo, but I am trying out the enclosed fore end.

You can get the Vudoo V22 in left handed, and the KRG Bravo, I'm sure McMillan would make you a left handed stock also(not sure which setup you are referring to)
