Default Favorite Spyderco?

My current spyderco stable:
FullSizeR(1).jpg

The para 3 gets the most pocket time.
I've got my eye on a Smock, Ikuchi, and anything American-made with a compression lock.

What's your favorite spyderco?

So many chinese clones- they are really close to factory but don't hold up- use caution when buying spyderco today

I have a police Model I picked up in the early 1990s.. spyderco reground it once for me for $20

I have a few of the H1 Salt blades.. great at not rusting

Rescue. I'm on my second one, yellow. Could be an Atlantic Salt, since it's H1 steel, but I bought it as a Rescue.

Had an orange one, but I was working in a non-permissive environment so I was not using the clip, and I lost it.

Never been a huge fan, but appreciate that they had the courage to release a knife like the Spiderfly. Bali-song knives being illegal in so many places makes for a small audience but doesn't always limit demand..

I love all my Spydercos. The one I carry the most is the Dragonfly. I like the para 3 lightweight and I have some that were made in the 1980s as well. Most of them I've never been used and are still in the box.

I have a Para II Custom, Para III with titanium Scales, Manix II w/Brass, and a PPT with carbon fiber scales. The Manix is the smoothest flipper I own, just creamy. The Para II is a workhorse & the III is sleek. I love the PPT the most though. The CF scales are perfect and I love the blade shape.

I have a couple “Grail” Spydercos that I am waiting to sell and retire off of…

C67P “R”
C67S “R”

Both are mint BNIB with all original packaging.

I got the Perrin Street Bowie recently and mounted it on a piece of gear replacing the G-clip with two Blade Tech Molle-Lok knock offs. Woulda got the originals but I didn't know the difference... got the real ones for another knife and they are better of course.

That Perrin is pretty awesome for such a light knife and that choil in the handle to draw and retain is innovative.

I want to check out the Ronin but never saw one in person.

I’ve been carrying a Delica for years. Lightweight and slim and the thin, flat-ground blade makes for a nice slicer. I used to be heavy into knife collecting and have had many knives over the years - high dollar customs, Chris Reeve, Emerson, Benchmade, ZT, Strider, Hinderer, etc. A $90 Delica is still my favorite daily carry knife.

I used to carry the original Endura with the plastic clip every day and it was great. I know they went to a metal clip because the plastic clips were breaking, but I never had any problem with mine. I eventually misplaced it and started carrying a Benchmade with a metal clip, but it seemed like the metal clip snagged on everything while I was working. That original Endura was so easy to carry and never got in the way. Would like to find another one.

I never thought to do so before now, so I just counted up my Spyderco's. Total is 15. I hope that doesn't make me a collector, fanboy, or weirdo. It just turned out that way completely by accident.

My most carried is a Manix 2 REX 45. Like probably most of us here, my FAVORITE is the last one I got. With each purchase, though, I'm getting exactly what I like, rather than random exploratory purchases.

So the one I got just a couple days ago is a Police 4 LW K390. It's GREAT right now. When the weather gets warmer and my wardrobe gets lighter, I might go back to the Manix.

Not the most practical, but I enjoy the Police model with the serrated edge. Slippery to some, heavy to others, but I don't mind.

I would love to say the left handed PM2 is my favorite, but I just can’t find one. It’s been over a year of searching with no luck.

Nice collection! Surprised actually I don’t own any Spyderco’s even though I’ve been drawn to their knives for years.

I found mine on Ebay. Seller belote. Might be worth an inquiry or call spyderco and tell them to make a batch! I could use another one.

EDC 24/7 for at least a decade, the Endura with Emerson wave.
Prefer a combo blade but lost it at the beach with Remy and only had this one in reserve.
Opens on draw from pocket and is relatively cheap.
