Default Can you get multiple CCWs from multiple Agencies?

Genuine question but i would guess the answer would be you’d have to surrender one of your licenses.

The biggest complaint about the California CCW is that most jurisdictions the MAX number of guns you can have on your CCW is 3. Some are worse and only let you have 2 or even just 1. Lets say that your City issues CCWs and you’re successful and get to carry 3 pistols on your city permit and then you apply through the Sheriffs office and successfully obtain your SO CCW which allows you to carry 2 pistols. Would you be allowed to use both CCWs at the same time and have to option to Carry 5 different pistols?

BTW the ccw license should be like a Driver’s License. Once you get the license, you should be allowed to carry whatever pistol you legally own. Just as if you get a new car, drive someone else’s car, rent a car. You shouldn’t have to qualify each new vehicle with the DMV. Lol

In many States, (decades ago) if you took your driving test in a car with an automatic transmission you were only licensed to drive cars with automatic transmissions but if you took your driving test in a car with a manual transmission, you could drive any type of passenger car.

No. There should be no government permit to exercise your Constitutional right. If you can legally own a gun, you absolutely should be able to carry it without asking the government

You MIGHT want to talk to ANYONE who has dealt with the public and firearms for any length of time (gun shop, shooting range etc.). I think their stories as to exactly how "the public" handles firearms hopefully will get you to consider at least SOME training for a CCW. The stories that I hear from CCW instructors I have worked with will curl your toes as to just how bad (and dangerous) a lot of CCW applicants are with their guns.

So, what limits should be put on the 4th or 5th amendment (which aren't amendments at all, they are acknowledgments of rights, not permissions)? It's called the BILL OF RIGHTS for a reason!

I'm part of ANYONE...been doing training and safety around firearms for 40+ years - people do REALLY SCARY things with firearms...

YET, despite all of these challenges, it doesn't seem to be as big a problem as one would think. Constitutional Carry has been around for quite some time in many places and there doesn't seem to be any increase in Darwin Awards in these areas.

4th Amendment says that cops can't enter your home without a warrant. But if your neighbors call and report that you're beating your wife, and they show up and hear a woman screaming in pain, they are going to come in (legally), warrant or not.

5th Amendment says that someone can't be held without due process. Cops get a call that someone robbed a store and killed the clerk. They get a description of the perpetrator. They find three people matching that description within a 5 block radius within 30 minutes. They are going to hold all three against their will for as long as 48 hours while they investigate. That's how long they (California cops) can hold someone without charging them.

I am never more fearful of firearms than when on the weapons qualification range for the Army.
