Default Project Appleseed Sacramento Valley Shooting Center June 6-7

Range is open!!

There are 8 tickets left for the June event!!

Project Appleseed at Sacramento Valley Shooting Center

Project Appleseed is a non-profit organization that teaches 3 position rifle marksmanship (prone, seated/kneeling and standing). We teach you how to build a proper position, use of a sling for better accuracy, natural point of aim and more. This is great for all experience levels from beginner to advanced.

We also tell the story of the beginning of the Revolutionary War, April 19, 1775. We need to remember what those brave people went through that day, and the days/years to follow. This information is being lost in our schools.

Come join us!! Learn new skills. Dust off the rusty skills.

I figured-- I just meant are there any restrictions on maglocked rifles considering the safety factor if there's a failure to feed or eject or something.

Quick thanks to NorCal22Gal, Joe, Vinnie, Ducky, Tank, Scott, and MikeysWife. I attended this last weekend. It was awesome. I will recommend it to anyone. The shooting as well as the history were great. I started showing my kids some videos as well. If I could loan my gun to friends for the weekend, I would.

Thanks for a great weekend! (Note, I think I slept like 11 hours Sunday night)

I used to put a confederate civil war rifle on display at the military museum on second street in the early 1980's just to show the differences in the quality of what men fought with. It would be nice if there was a place where the real weapons could be loaned to in order to show the public what they actually were like to support the history. i do not donate because once you do that you lose control and it can be sold off. But i was always of the opinion that the spoken word is more impressive when it is backed up by real examples. Sounds like everyone enjoyed the time they had so good job.
