Default Ruger 22/45 Mark lll. Loose front sight

I replaced the front and rear sight on my Ruger 22 last year. The front sight screw keeps coming loose. I assume it needs loctite. Which color or type should I use or is loctite not the right product. Thanks

Blue, or get green loctite 292 (the number is important), which is about the same as blue in terms of holding strength except you can wick it into an already tightened screw.

But, since you can get blue at Home Depot and pretty much need to order 292 on amazon or something... blue.

292 doesn't exist.
290 is a med/high strength wicking thread locker
294 is high temp application
You guys order your loctite?? I mean you don't have it on hand??

Yup, you are correct, I meant 290.

Yeah, I have blue loctite on hand at all times cuz you can get it off the shelf everywhere.

Before, I didn't have 290 on hand, but when I needed some, I had to order it. Now I have it on hand.
