Project Appleseed is a non-profit organization that teaches 3 position riflemarksmanship (prone, seated/kneeling and standing). We teach you how to build a proper position, use of a sling for better accuracy, natural point of aim and more. This is great for all experience levels from beginner to advanced.

We also tell the story of the beginning of the Revolutionary War, April 19, 1775. We need to remember what those brave people went through that day, and the days/years to follow. This information is being lost in our schools.

Piru is in Ventura County.

Rainbow is in San Diego County.
Expect a couple more events at Rainbow later this year.
April is sold out, but you can always show up and hope we have a no-show, we had several last weekend.

You should really consider single day events and that might attract more shooters from further away.

For example, I would love to do a few more of these with different rifles but can't realistically drive from the east bay to Sac Valley two days in a row.

There are some 1-day events. I believe all of the evwnt in Corona last year were 1 day.

Honestly, I think there is just too much information for us to pass on, and for you to absorb in 1 day.

Of course you can always just come to one day of a two-day event. If you choose this option, I highly recommend coming to Saturday, as you will get much more out of the firat day. The second day is typically putting into practice and refining the skills you learn the first day.

I hope this helps.

One day events are very difficult to get all the information to the student. I have done one in Red Bluff. That range doesn't have a hard stop to shooting except at sunset and it was still very difficult to get everything in and still not completely overwhelm the students.

We have a lot of bay area students. They either find camping areas near the range or stay in hotels. If you have a trailer, you can contact the Sac Valley range and make arrangements to camp on site. They only allow fully self contained camping.

Is this a final list for the year? I'd only be able to go in July but there's only Piru listed. It's a long haul from the Bay Area.

Have you guys totally given up on the bay area? On your forums there were (preliminary) KD events posted for San Jose/Metcalf that never happened, and posted again this year.

Quit getting our hopes up....

Not that I have one but aren't those one of the most popular "g2g out of the box" ARs?

Yes this is a final list. I don't know the status of the Bay area events. I know the shoot boss there tried very hard to get in several places but was unable to get in anywhere.

I have not posted any KD events for Metcalf/San Jose area. There are no events in the Bay Area at this time as the shoot boss in the are has been unable to get in anywhere. I have not heard any update on the status of that area.

Yes, but there have been some safety issues with them that at this time have not been resolved. To help ensure the safety of our students, our national board has banned them until such time as the issue is resolved. I have not received an update stating that it has been changed.

Not blaming you, but whoever is posting non-existing events on your forum needs to either edit or delete them:

Thanks for bringing that to my attention. I'll let them know there aren't any more kd's in the bay area.

It is specifically the S&W M&P 15-22.
