Default Primary Arms is a cut above...

I just finished building my first AR. I've been living in the Caribbean for years and have been away from firearms in all that time and I had to start from scratch. I had to get tools, had to learn about the changes that have taken place in firearm technologies, even what was being offered and what was quality and what was just shiny BS, etc... I've always wanted to build an AR the way I wanted it. I started out with what I thought was a good idea of what parts I wanted to utilize for the build and of course by the time I finished I had a much different rifle than I envisioned in the beginning and a much better rifle as well. Of course, I somehow doubled my "budget"
Ahhh... what the hell, life is too short for budgets sometimes.

Anyhow, I scoured the online sites for this part or that and dealt with and ordered from a lot of different vendors:

Aero Precision, Brownell's, Baur Precision, Bud's Gun Shop, CustomAR15,
Eastex, Green Ridge Outfitters, Gibbz Arms, J Dewey, Midway, Midwest, Primary Arms, Ranier Arms, Spike's Tactical, Schyuler's Guns, Tom's Tactical, Wing Tactical, and White Oak Armament.

And out of all the vendors... I have to say that Primary Arms had the fastest shipping out of anyone, usually-the best prices, and really the best customer service. On the prices, sometimes another vendor might have it for a few bucks less but I knew I'd have it in 2 or 3 days and what's a few bucks for a piece of mind? I made several different orders with them and on one order one of the items didn't sit well with me after I received it. I contacted Primary Arms to ask about swapping out the item for a different item and it was no problem at all. Sent it back and they are shipping the other item for free (I even offered to pay the shipping and they said "Don't even think of it"!). It's refreshing to deal with a company who put's a customer's satisfaction over a buck. Good folk there. Speaking of good folk, if anyone is ever wondering about dealing with White Oak? Don't hesitate. Good people there too!
