Interesting. I saw a video once. Is was about this guy, who's an artist. He goes out to the desert with some dynamite, and heavy copper plates.

He buries the dynamite, and places the copper plate over it. The detonation deforms the copper plate. He then paints stuff on the plate.

Its actually something I would hang on my wall.
